Garbage Brave【Revenge story of the hero who was been thrown away after summoned to another world】- Volume 01 – Afterword

Hello everyone, it’s me, Nanjamonja.

First of all, please let me say thanks for allowing this story to be made into a book.

To my readers who read this, to my editor who chose this work, to Shuriyasuyuki-sama who drew wonderful illustrations, to Syosetu that gave me a place to post this work, and everyone else who worked hard to bring this work into the world, thank you. Thank you very much.

Simple thoughts about this story:

Thrown away.

Almost die.

Become stronger.

Return to human society.

Events in human society.

In this volume, revenge wasn’t accomplished yet, but I was trying to write a comedic journey on the way to revenge. The first half of the story has many battles with monsters, and the main character Tsukuru levels up while almost dying several times. Since it’s a world with levels, higher levels are stronger, but levels aren’t everything. Some abilities can’t be checked on the status plate, and skills also have levels.

I wanted to combine those things and include some lore of the world, and go over his combat experience thus far. Whenever he is about to die, he will remember the face of the priest, the shitty old man, who summoned him to this world and threw him away.

It’s a cliche revenge story where the image of that shitty old man will stimulate his will to live, but I wanted to make it as interesting as possible. There were many things that didn’t go exactly as I wanted, but as I wrote, I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget the word “revenge.”

I hope everyone who reads will enjoy it. Finally, thank you very much for reading Garbage Brave.
